Is Exercising the Brain Bad?
I was reading an article about exercising the brain, not to get it confused with exercise to lose weight. Anyways, apparently exercising your brain at an older age can create more of a memory loss. For more details click here.

Heart Attack Grill
King-Mag.com referred to the Heart Attack Grill as the greatest restaurant. After looking at the article and visiting the actual site it looks more like the UNHEALTHIEST restaurant around. The menu consists of items, such as french fries cooked in lard, burgers with 2 lbs of meat totaling an average of 8,000 calories and that is just for ONE MEAL!! I’m wondering how many of their customers actually end up having heart attacks??
Another bonus to finish a meal there is getting an escort to your car in a wheelchair by a waitress dressed as a nurse…lol Those customers need to find an exercise to lose weight if they keep eating at the Heart Attack Grill on a regular basis.
9 Bizarre Ways to Wipe without Toilet Paper
I came across a heath article listing 9 ways people have used to wipe when toilet paper is not found.
- Lambs Wool
- Frayed Anchor Line
- Stones
- Sponge Sticks
- Corncobs
- Hemp
- Coconut Shells
- Tundra Moss
- Left Hand
After reading this I’m always going to carry at least a tissue or two with me…..very gross!!
Fight a Cold
An article listed the best foods to fight the common cold:
- 7 servings of fruits & veggies along with 8-10 glasses of water
- Yogurt
- Sweet Potatoes
- Tea (Black Tea)
- Chicken Soup
- Beef
- Mushrooms
- Fish and Shellfish
- Garlic
- Oats and Barley
Along with eating well, regularly using your exercise machines can help prevent colds, at least that is what a friend told me.
Britain’s Fattest Teenager Loses near 300 Pounds
The youngest person to ever have gastric bypass was Britain’s teenage, Malissa Jones. At age 16 she ate 15,000 calories per day and at her age it is recommended to only eat 2,000!!! Instead of buying herself her favorite candybars she should have been considering a folding treadmill!! The article stated, “She was so hooked on eating she’d even raid the freezer in the middle of the night and gobble down partially-thawed raw burgers.”
After reading the article Malissa said that she ate her emotions because of all the family trauma going on in her life. Although there were risks for someone as young as her to receive a gastric bypass she decided that she would have died without it either way.
Worlds Fattest Man Married
The world’s fattest man got who got married last year in October had lost an amazingly over 500 lbs. Except he didn’t lose the weight with the typical fitness equipment. He had to stay on a strict diet, although he did lose a massive amount of weight he is still confined to his bed.
Now I don’t know the background of how this individual got to be so big, but from what have seen on the television about him is he LIKES/LIKED to eat ALOT. I would feel bad for someone who has a disease that adds weight without control but for someone who just can’t control their eating habits it’s hard to be sympathetic.
Sexual song lyrics linked to early sex
U.S. Researches said, “Teens who prefer popular songs with degrading sexual references are more likely to engage in intercourse or in pre-coital activities.”
The participants conducted in these surveys were over 700 ninth-graders, and 1/3 of those claim to have been sexually active.

Don’t Have time to Exercise
Why don’t we exercise? Is it because:
- Initially it’s boring
- There are no consequences when we don’t exercise
- Waiting till we have nothing else to do
- There are better things to do
- It’s causes you to be sore
Whatever the reason maybe grab your treadmill, a bottle of water and a pair of headphones it will take your mind off work, and anything else that makes your day stressful!
Is Procrastination stopping you?
At one point or another we all find ourselves on the treadmill of procrastination. Studies have shown that 70% of college students procrastinate on their work and it increases from freshmen to senior year. When I was a freshmen in college having the liberty to go to and from class when I wanted probably added to the start of procrastination. Throughout Sophomore and Junior Year I really buckled down on organization. Then came my last semester, Senior year…which felt like it dragged on and on!
Some people believe that people procrastinate because of perfectionism?? Personally I think that people just don’t want to see the outcome of what they are to do.
Why do you think people procrastinate?
