Are there any exercise help one lose weight?
I know I’m probably just getting paranoid but it seems like the only way I lose weight is when I cut down on eating all together. This week I lose three pounds and every morning I had a cup of coffee and an apple. For lunch I had some kind of chicken and/or salad. As for dinner I didn’t eat at all because of having lunch so late. I didn’t get around to using my elliptical trainer this week because I either didn’t get home from work until late or my sister had a basketball game that don’t get over until 9 pm. Are there any good exercises to lose weight that I don’t have to starve myself??

Learning is Healthy
Many of us look passed what is “healthy” and go straight to the importance of exercising. Exercise alone is good, but exercising your brain is also important…especially at a young age. When children are young they are full of questions and curious about everything. I recently purchased a gift for my friend’s little girl called the, “Twilight Turtle.” The twilight turltle is a constellation night light that actually reflects a real starry night’s sky in your child’s bedroom.

She will be able to learn about endangered animals and which constellations are what…if you are looking for a gift or an educational toy that won’t be thrown into a closet within days or doesn’t have a million pieces you should also check out other constellation night lights.
There is Disability Equipment Available
Don’t let your disability stop you from anything, especially exercising and recreational activities that you love. I came across a bowling ball ramp that is perfect for a person standing or even in a wheelchair. Disability equipment like this may seem expensive, but with the use that one will get out of it, it would be the perfect gift! I had never seen anything quite like this before, the bottom of the ramp have rubber tips and scuff guards so your local bowling alley should have no problem with bringing this product along next time you feel like bowling.
I highly recommend this product for anyone who loves bowling, bowling balls themselves are pretty darn heavy this would definitely compensate for all that trouble. You should definitely check it out and other disability equipment while you’re at it!
Interesting Health Facts
I found some really interesting health facts, here are few:
- The average adult has 1 billion brain cells. We lose 85,000 of these every day. If all our brain cells were laid end-to-end, it would be 200 million miles long.
- A person will die from total lack of sleep sooner than from a lack of food. Death will occur after about 10 days without sleep, while starvation takes a few weeks.
- 61% of Americans wear corrective lenses to improve their vision. More than 2 million Americans underwent laser vision correction procedures last year.

Diet Pills are Bad – CEO Goes To Jail
Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals President and CEO, Jared Wheat was sentenced 50 months in prision for illegally selling knock-off prescription drugs over the Internet. Not only is he facing jail and fines, but him and his business companions were demanded to foreit over $3 million from the proceeds of the illegal business transactions.
In the article the drugs that were being sold illegally were generic versions of: Xanax, Valium, Ambien, Vioxx, Zoloft, Viagra and Cialis. I can’t believe that there are people that will actually buy pills that normally need a prescription from a licensed doctor over the Internet! Personally, I think that is insane to trust someone online with medicine.

Stretching Exercises
My sister is a high school sophomore who is involved in 3-sports (cross-country, basketball & track). She recently purchased a stretching machine that she uses before and after any strenuous activity. In the past month of trying the product out she has noticed an increase in her flexibility and stride when running across the basketball court. Before , stretching use to be a hassle, now stretching exercises take a matter of minutes and are easy to do (she actually is feeling a difference in a short amount of time).
Stretching is extremely important, especially when one starts physical activity. Not stretching can cause muscle aches & pain and future exercising uncomfortable (we’ve all been there).
Celebrities and Weight
Nowadays image means a lot, whether to yourself, your surroundings, etc. Everyone wants to be “in shape.” How far is to far? People.com photographed celebrities that are “too thin.” But these days who knows what too thin is. Last week we were all hearing about Jessica Simpson wearing the mom jeans up to her neck and she’s a size 8. Who really cares what size Jessica Simpson is, I can tell you that my day will still go on if I don’t know what size pants a celebrity is. We all want an exercise to lose weight or “magic” equipment to get us there.
Being a woman it seems like women get more issues than men when dealing with weight? Is it because it’s more noticeable? or maybe it’s because we (women) make it more of an issue to the public? It’s evident in the Jessica Simpson fiasco that magazines pull her apart for the slightest little thing just to make a buck. And to be honest, Yes, celebrity gossip is addicting.
Benefits of Folding Treadmill
When I was looking for a treadmill, it was really difficult to find an exercise machine that would fit my measurement requirements. It was so important that it fit in a particular part of my room where it wouldn’t be in the way of my everyday life. I was seeking a compact treadmill and I came across a someone on a “I Hate Men” site (by the way I don’t hate men lol – you should really check that site out) who raved about the TR1000 that she had purchased. Two weeks after I saw that comment, I went out and bought it and now I have an elliptical machine and a treadmill.
This morning when I was driving to work I was listening to the radio and I had a commercial that said, “Do you ever have trouble staying on a diet because you are constantly hungry?” I think that assumption is because people think that eating less food is the way to diet. Now, I’m no doctor, BUT I think that it’s the KIND of food people eat when they are on a “diet.” I try and alter my eating habits when I’m eating “healthy” but sometimes I’ll break down to chocolate, twizzlers…you know all that good stuff
Happy Dieting
